We’re almost through with winter, and we here at Base Camp are eagerly anticipating the arrival of warm spring weather. But with spring also comes April 8th, the date that marks the end of support for Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Office 2003. Are you ready?
Wait – before you make the change to a new OS, double check that your printers or other peripherals have the ability to talk to a Windows 7 or 8 machine! You don’t want to invest in a great new computer, only to find out it doesn’t talk to your other technology anymore. It’s as simple as going to your favorite browser and checking out your manufacturer’s updates for Windows 7 or 8/8.1. You’ll save yourself a headache in the long run if you look before you replace.
